Fellowship Overview
Up to one hundred twenty five thousand pounds in total funding
Twelve month research visit with the option to split the stay across two years
Minimum of three months must be spent physically in the United Kingdom
Aims to strengthen international research ties and foster long term collaboration
Who Can Apply
Senior level researchers currently based outside the United Kingdom
Must be internationally recognized leaders in their scientific field
Must have a confirmed invitation from an eligible UK host institution
Research must fall within the natural sciences including biology chemistry physics mathematics and engineering
Financial Support
Annual bursary up to eighty thousand pounds
Up to ten thousand pounds for research expenses including consumables travel visas and relocation
Additional support available for family relocation visa costs childcare during conferences and accessibility needs
UK host institution is responsible for indirect costs and employer contributions
