Scholarship Details

This highly competitive award is offered twice yearly, with up to 50 scholarships per intake, each valued at up to NZD 10,000 and applied directly to compulsory tuition and student services fees. It covers one academic year (two semesters), and is available to new international students entering undergraduate, master’s, or postgraduate diploma programs of at least 120 credits.

Eligibility

Applicants must come from countries outside New Zealand and Australia, and must not hold citizenship, permanent residence, or a resident visa in either country. Candidates need a conditional or unconditional offer from Auckland University for a full‑time eligible program, and typically must demonstrate academic excellence with a GPE equivalent of 6.00 or higher. They must also meet English language proficiency standards. Distance learners are not eligible.
