Eligibility & Requirements
This scholarship celebrates academic excellence, heartfelt motivation to pursue a career in the tourism industry, and genuine financial need. Open to anyone holding a conditional or unconditional offer—or already studying—in a Travel, Tourism or Events programme at GCU. Ideal candidates include undergraduate, postgraduate (MSc), and PhD students. While applicants from all nationalities are welcome, preference may be given to Scottish studentsThe following programmes qualify:
BA (Hons) International Tourism and Events Management, MSc International Tourism and Events Management, and PhD studies in related areas↚
Scholarship Benefits
Awards vary depending on level of study. Undergraduate students may receive up to £3,700, disbursed in two instalments across the academic year. Postgraduate recipients can expect up to £2,600, paid over three instalments These funds help ease tuition costs and let you focus fully on your development.Additional Requirements
Scholars must express gratitude via a thank-you letter to the Moffat Charitable Trust and submit an end-of-year report on how the scholarship has impacted their journey. Granting permission for use of photos or quotes, and attending Moffat Centre events, is also expected . If you change programmes after applying, the award remains valid only for the original courseDeadline & Timeline
