Fellowship Details
The fellowship runs for two months between July and November 2026, after which any unused funds must be concluded before the end of 2026. The application deadline is 30 November 2025.
Eligibility
Applicants may be early-career or tenured academics, researchers, legal practitioners, or individuals with lived experience of statelessness who propose meaningful applied or theoretical work. The selection favours those whose research aligns with the Centre’s mandate. All nationalities are eligible.
Benefits
This fellowship provides up to AUD 6,000, covering return airfare, accommodation, workspace and library access at the Law School. Fellows are expected to engage in seminars, deliver a workshop or public lecture, and may contribute to the Critical Statelessness Studies blog.

Submit a single PDF“Visiting Fellowship Application.” Documents should include a CV and publication list, a research plan (up to 1,000 words) with proposed visit dates and budget breakdown, and one letter of support or reference suitable to your status. Incomplete applications or those received after 30 November 2025 will not be considered.
