About the Scholarship
This entrance scholarship rewards academic promise and genuine commitment to study as part of an approved study abroad agreement with Otago Polytechnic. You will be automatically considered once you enroll as a new international study abroad student in 2026—no separate application is required
Eligible Students & Criteria
Scholarship eligibility is limited to new international students enrolling full-time (45 – 60 NZ credits per semester) in 2026 under a recognised study abroad scheme with a partner institution. Applicants who defer, switch to part-time study, or are re‑enrolling at Otago Polytechnic will not qualify
Discount Details
You receive a direct tuition fee reduction of up to 30% for the first year (first semester only), depending on your chosen programme. Sample estimates per 60-credit semester show reductions such as:
- $3,465 off for programmes like Applied Management, Design or Visual Arts (full‐fee around $11,550)
- $3,985 off in IT ($13,286 full‐fee)
- $3,765 off in Engineering ($12,550 full‐fee)
Final tuition payable ranges between approximately $8,085–$9,301 NZD per semester
