Details
The scholarship is available for Master’s and Doctoral programs across faculties such as engineering, science, computing and IT, business, humanities, environmental design, meteorology and marine sciences. Applications are accepted year‑round via the Study in Saudi platform, with selection happening twice annually for Spring and Fall intakes. Undergraduate applications must be submitted by June 14, 2025, while postgraduate applicants must apply before October 14–31, 2025, depending on the source.
Eligibility
International (non‑Saudi) candidates are eligible provided they meet age limits: under 25 for bachelor’s, under 30 for master’s, and under 35 for PhD applicants. You must hold the appropriate previous degree from an accredited institution with a minimum grade of “very good” (approximately 80% / GPA 3.75/5). You must be medically fit, of good conduct, and not have been dismissed from any Saudi university. A clean academic and conduct record is required. English proficiency is mandatory unless you apply to Arabic-language or Islamic Studies programs. Two letters of recommendation are required for postgraduate applicants.
Benefits
Awardees receive full tuition coverage for their entire program, a monthly stipend (approximately SAR 900), and a research assistant allowance (SAR 1,000 per month in some cases). Upon arrival, you will receive an initial preparation allowance (SAR 1,800). Hospitalization and routine healthcare are fully covered, and university-managed accommodation and subsidized meals are provided. Additional support includes thesis-printing allowance (SAR 3,000–4,000), book shipping allowance upon graduation (SAR 2,700), and an annual round-trip airfare ticket to your home country. Outstanding Master’s students may be eligible to transition to a PhD under the same scholarship
