Scholarship Details

Designed to attract future global leaders in key fields, the Eiffel Scholarship enables foreign students to enroll in Master’s, engineering or joint doctoral programmes across disciplines including engineering sciences, exact sciences, life sciences, environmental sciences, economics, management, law and political science  The 2026 campaign will open around October 1, 2025, with all applications routed through nominated French higher education institutions before the Campus France deadline of January 8, 2026. Selection decisions are expected in April 2026 

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be non‑French nationals and must apply through a French university or Grande École that nominates them. Age limits apply—up to 30 years old for Master’s level candidates, and up to 35 years for PhD applicants. Only students in eligible disciplines from developing and industrialized countries are considered 

Scholarship Benefits

For Master’s scholars the award provides a monthly maintenance stipend of approximately €1,031 plus an additional grant of €150, totalling around €1,181 per month. PhD recipients receive a monthly allowance of about €1,400. Additional benefits include an international round‑trip ticket, domestic travel support, health insurance coverage, housing assistance where applicable, and access to cultural activities. Tuition fees are exempted at public institutions for scholarship recipients 

How to Apply

Begin by identifying a French university offering your chosen programme in an eligible field. Apply to that institution and indicate your interest in the Eiffel Scholarship. Only institutions can nominate candidates. Submit your application to Campus France via the university, following their internal deadlines (typically autumn/early winter). Final submissions to Campus France must be received by January 8, 2026. The scholarship recipient list is generally announced around April 2026
