Details

This highly prestigious scholarship is awarded to approximately 37 top international students annually. As a Pearson Scholar, you will receive full coverage for tuition, books, incidental fees, and on-campus residence for all four years of your undergraduate program. You can choose from over 700 fields of study across U of T’s three campuses: St. George, Mississauga, and Scarborough 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be an international (non‑Canadian) student requiring a study permit 
  • Be in your final year of secondary school in 2025–2026, or have graduated no earlier than June 2025 
  • Must not have started any post‑secondary studies before September 2026 
  • School nomination is required (only one nominee per school per year) 
  • Must apply for admission to U of T and choose your first-choice program with care (scholarship only applies to that choice)

How to Apply

  1. Ask your high school to nominate you. Each school may nominate only one student. Nomination opens on July 1, 2025, and the deadline is October 10, 2025 
  2. Apply to the University of Toronto via OUAC before October 17, 2025. Be sure to choose your program thoughtfully, as the scholarship applies only to your first choice
  3. Once nominated and applied to U of T, you’ll receive a personalized link to the Pearson scholarship application. Submit that by November 7, 2025 
  4. Provide required materials: transcripts, nomination confirmation, essays, references, and proof of graduation. Some programs may require English proficiency scores, submitted with your university application rather than scholarship form
