Eligibility Criteria
The Crick PhD programme welcomes applicants of all nationalities. Candidates must hold a first or upper second-class honours degree (or international equivalent) in a relevant subject and have appropriate research experience through university courses, external projects, or a Master’s degree in a related field. Some positions may have additional requirements depending on specific funding streams.
How to Apply and the Selection Process
Applications open in October 2025. Initial eligibility is reviewed by the Academic Training team. Applicants can select up to three Group Leaders for their research application. Group Leaders review applications anonymously to minimize bias and may shortlist candidates for interviews.
