Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Hold a Master’s degree or equivalent (MD, Diploma, etc.) in life sciences, natural sciences, medical sciences, or related fields
- Have relevant research experience (thesis work, lab internships, or projects)
- Demonstrate excellent English proficiency (C1 level; English test optional but fluency statement required)
- Medical graduates with sufficient research experience are eligible
- Be of any nationality
Scholarship Benefits
This fully funded PhD position includes:
- Employment contract with social benefits (TVL-13, 65%) and approximate monthly gross salary of €3,009
- Duration of 3 years with possible extension until completion
- No tuition fees, only semester social contribution (~€335), which includes a Deutschlandticket for public transport across Germany
