Early Bird Discount
Receive a €2,000 discount on your first-year tuition fee by accepting your study offer and paying within the given timeframe.
Available to new Master’s students only.
University of Turku Merit Scholarship
Rewarding academic excellence and progress:
- Master’s students: 50% tuition fee reduction for the 2nd year
- Bachelor’s students: 50% tuition fee reduction for the 2nd and 3rd year
Requirements:
- Minimum 55 ECTS credits per academic year
- Average grade of ≥3.0/5.0
- At least 4 ECTS in Finnish language before applying

Fulbright–University of Turku Graduate Award (for U.S. Students)
A prestigious award in partnership with the Fulbright Finland Foundation, open to U.S. citizens pursuing Master’s or PhD studies at UTU.

Who Can Apply?
Open to students of all nationalities.
You are exempt from tuition fees if you:
- Hold an EU/EEA or Swiss citizenship
- Have a permanent (P) or continuous (A) Finnish residence permit (non-study reason)
- Hold an EU Blue Card or family residence card
- Are under temporary protection or an exchange/doctoral student
