Expand Your Global Impact with the Taiwan AID NGO Fellowship Program 2026
Program Details
The fellowship takes place in Taiwan from 4 October to 1 November 2026 and lasts for one month. Only 12 participants are selected, making this a highly competitive international opportunity.
The program begins with a four-day orientation workshop focused on NGO learning, international cooperation, and collaboration. After the orientation, fellows are placed in Taiwanese NGOs that match their professional background and interests.
Fellowship Experience
Participants gain practical experience by working directly with NGO teams and contributing to real projects. Fellows take part in event planning, project management, fundraising activities, and collaboration with professionals in the field.
The program also includes workshops, training sessions, and networking opportunities with NGO leaders and international development experts. This immersive experience allows participants to understand how Taiwanese NGOs operate and how international organizations can work together more effectively.
Available Fields
Professionals from a wide range of fields are encouraged to apply, including Community Development, Environment, Education, Gender and Human Rights, Media and Information Technology, LGBTQ+ Advocacy, Medical Services, and Social Welfare.
Applicants whose work relates to international development and social impact are especially encouraged to participate.
Benefits
The Taiwan AID NGO Fellowship is fully funded, covering the major costs of participation during the one-month stay in Taiwan. In addition to financial support, fellows benefit from professional training, practical field experience, international exposure, and valuable networking opportunities with experts and organizations.
This program is an excellent chance to build new skills, exchange ideas, and strengthen your future career in the NGO and development sector.
Eligibility
The fellowship is intended for NGO professionals with relevant experience in one of the eligible fields. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to social impact, international cooperation, and professional growth.
Because only 12 fellows are selected, candidates should present a strong background and a clear motivation for joining the program.
