The selected student will receive a total scholarship award of five thousand dollars
The award is provided in two installments of two thousand five hundred dollars each
The scholarship offers financial assistance for tuition and educational expenses
Recipients receive recognition for academic excellence leadership and commitment to higher education
The recipient must maintain a GPA of three point zero to receive the second installment of the scholarship
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be U S citizens
Applicants must be high school seniors attending a public or nonprofit high school in metro Atlanta
Applicants must be accepted to an accredited college or university in Georgia
Applicants must plan to attend a Georgia higher education institution
Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement and financial need
Applicants must participate in an interview with the scholarship committee
Applicants must obtain a recommendation letter from a school advisor
Applicants must be nominated by their school counselor
Each school counselor may nominate up to two eligible students
