Available Subjects
The scholarship applies to most undergraduate courses except Medicine and BA International Honours joint courses with William & Mary. Eligible schools and departments include Art History, Biology, Chemistry, Classics, Computer Science, Divinity, Earth and Environmental Sciences, English, Film Studies, Geography and Sustainable Development, History, International Relations, Mathematics and Statistics, Modern Languages, Philosophy, Physics and Astronomy, Psychology and Neuroscience, Social Anthropology, and the University of St Andrews Business School.
Benefits
The value of the award will be confirmed by December 2025 and is paid annually for the duration of the undergraduate program. Recipients will also gain leadership and outreach experience by representing the University as Student Ambassadors.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold an Overseas fee status, apply for an eligible undergraduate degree, and be prospective students entering the first year (including direct entry into year two). Candidates must demonstrate academic excellence, provide one academic and one personal reference, submit a statement of motivation showcasing achievements, ambitions, and contributions to the St Andrews community, and be willing to participate in the Student Ambassador Scheme during their studies.

Application Procedure
Apply for admission to an undergraduate course at St Andrews for 2026 entry. Two working days after submitting your course application, access the scholarship application form via the My Application portal. Complete the International Undergraduate Scholarships application form, upload references, and submit your statement of motivation. Applications must be submitted before the deadline of 28 January 2026.
