The ERA Green Hydrogen Fellowships fund research projects or continued academic training at state or state-recognised universities and non-university research institutes in Germany
Funding can also support self-organized internships in companies or non-university institutions working on green hydrogen in Germany
Fellows gain access to four international working groups focused on production, transport and infrastructure, market stimulation, and cross-cutting issues including regulation and socio-economic frameworks
Active participation in the working groups is expected and support continues even after the funding period

Eligibility
Open to PhD students interested in any topics related to green hydrogen
Enrollment in universities in eligible countries including EU member states, Albania, Algeria, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, Chile, Côte d’Ivoire, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Ghana, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Kosovo, Mexico, Morocco, Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Namibia, New Zealand, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Senegal, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Togo, Türkiye, Tunisia, Ukraine, USA, United Kingdom, and Uruguay
Willingness to actively participate in one of the designated working groups
