Program Structure

Fully Funded Benefits
Selected fellows will receive round-trip airfare to Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut
Round-trip airfare to Paris, France, will also be provided
Hotel accommodation will be covered during both in-person fellowship programs
Airport transfers connected to the international gatherings will be provided
Participants will receive a daily living allowance during the in-person sessions
The fellowship covers participation in all official program activities
Fellows will take part in interactive sessions with Yale faculty members, climate experts, and international practitioners
Participants will gain access to networking opportunities with climate leaders from different countries and professional sectors
Fellows will be introduced to climate research, initiatives, and expertise available across Yale University

Eligible Nationalities
Applications are open to citizens of developing countries in the Global South
Eligible regions include Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and the Caribbean
Applicants must hold citizenship from an eligible developing country and demonstrate a strong connection to climate or clean energy work in their professional careers

Applicants must be citizens of eligible developing countries in the Global South
Applicants must be fluent in English because all fellowship activities, discussions, and learning sessions will be conducted in English
Applicants must be available to participate in all in-person and virtual components of the fellowship
Applicants should normally have between five and ten years of professional experience with demonstrated achievements in their fields
Applicants must show a strong and sustained commitment to climate action, clean energy, sustainability, or related environmental priorities
Applicants must be willing and able to attend the in-person programs in both the United States and France
Applicants should demonstrate leadership potential and the ability to influence climate-related progress in their professional sector or home country
