Scholarship Overview
The King-Morgridge Scholars Program is UW–Madison’s most selective award for international students. It recognizes academic excellence, leadership, creativity, and dedication to social change. Only six scholars are selected each year, receiving comprehensive financial support and guidance to maximize their educational and community impact.Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be first-year students seeking a bachelor’s degree, first-generation university students from low-income backgrounds, and within three years of high school graduation. Eligible students should come from schools in Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, South Asia, or Southeast Asia. Transfer students, graduate students, or those who have completed a post-secondary degree are not eligible.↚
