The USTC Fellowship 2026 is offered by the University of Science and Technology of China and is available for international students who wish to pursue master’s degree programs in China
The fellowship supports both English taught and Chinese taught master’s programs allowing students from different academic backgrounds to study in their preferred language
The program provides either full or partial financial support depending on the scholarship level awarded to the selected candidates
Requirements
Applicants must be non Chinese citizens from any country around the world and must hold a valid passport
Candidates should demonstrate strong academic performance and meet the admission requirements for master’s programs at the University of Science and Technology of China
Students should also be motivated to pursue graduate level education and research while contributing to an international academic environment
Benefits
The USTC Fellowship provides two levels of financial support for selected students
Level A is a fully funded scholarship supported by the Chinese Government Scholarship the CAS ANSO Scholarship and the University of Science and Technology of China This level includes full tuition fee coverage a monthly stipend of three thousand RMB comprehensive medical insurance and accommodation support
Level B is a partially funded scholarship supported by USTC which provides full tuition fee coverage Students may also apply for Teaching Assistant or Research Assistant subsidies after enrollment to receive additional financial support
Each applicant can receive only one scholarship either Level A or Level B
