 Lead with Impact: Chevening Gurukul Fellowship at the University of Oxford 2026

This transformative 12-week residential programme will take place at the Department of Politics and International Relations, University of Oxford. It offers a unique opportunity to engage with global debates on leadership, policy, and governance, while focusing on challenges that resonate with the Indian and international context. Participants will explore diverse themes such as globalization, economic integration, climate change, sustainability, science, technology.

Eligibility Requirements

The Chevening Gurukul Fellowship is open exclusively to Indian citizens who currently reside in India. Applicants must hold a postgraduate qualification or equivalent professional training and possess at least ten years of relevant work experience. Candidates should be mid-career professionals who have demonstrated leadership capacity in fields such as government, private sector, civil society, or media. A proven record of achievements and a commitment to shaping policy and practice are essential.

Fellowship Benefits

Successful fellows will receive full financial support, covering all programme fees at the University of Oxford, living expenses for the duration of the fellowship, and return economy airfare between India and the UK.
