Details

This fully funded two-year fellowship begins in June 2026 (renewable after the first year contingent on performance) . Fellows design and execute interdisciplinary research plans in collaboration with two or more Princeton faculty or senior researchers, aligned with the Center’s mission addressing energy and environmental innovations 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must hold a PhD awarded no more than three years prior to the intended start (~since mid‑2023)
  • Proposed research must relate to energy or environmental challenges, integrating technological, economic, policy, or social dimensions.
  • Candidates should have identified at least one primary Princeton mentor and coordinated the research plan in collaboration.
  • Preference given to applicants not currently affiliated with Princeton University 

Benefits

  • Annual salary of USD 75,000, equivalent to a postdoctoral research associate position at Princeton 
  • USD 3,000 annual allowance for conference travel and professional development Full university benefits package, including health insurance, transportation subsidies, childcare support, legal services, and retirement options typical of Princeton postdocs
