Scholarship Details
The Pinnacol Foundation Scholarship provides an average of $4,700 per year to eligible students. A total of 75 scholarships are available for the 2027 academic year, making it one of the most significant need-based scholarship programs in Colorado.
The application deadline is February 15, 2027. The scholarship is available to high school seniors, current college students, GED holders, and students pursuing vocational or technical training.
Eligible Programs
Recipients may use the scholarship for a variety of educational pathways, including undergraduate degree programs, associate degrees, trade schools, vocational programs, and technical certification courses.
Because the scholarship supports all subjects and fields of study, students are free to choose the educational path that best matches their interests and future goals.

Applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 25 and must be the child or dependent of a worker who was seriously injured or killed in a work-related accident. The parent must have worked for a Colorado-based employer and been covered under the Colorado Workers’ Compensation Act.
Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and be a high school senior, high school graduate, current student, or GED holder.
