Achieve More with the Western Washington University International Achievement Award
The International Achievement Award is a partially funded scholarship designed to support international students pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies at WWU. Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, applicants must be either newly admitted or continuing international students at Western Washington University. A strong academic record is essential, and in some cases, leadership skills, special talents, or financial need may also be considered. Students must maintain satisfactory academic performance throughout their studies to remain eligible for renewal or continuation of scholarship support.
Scholarship Benefits
Selected students may receive up to $10,000 per academic year to help offset tuition fees. In addition, international students are automatically considered for several merit- and program-based scholarships without needing to submit separate applications. For the 2025–2026 academic year, the main application closed on May 4, 2025. Applications for the 2026–2027 academic year are expected to open in March 2026, following the university’s official schedule.
