Eligible Nationalities and Residency

Applicants must be legal residents of Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin
Students who do not reside in one of the eligible states may not qualify for the scholarship

Who Is Not Eligible
Current UMSA Board members are not eligible to apply
Members of the UMSA Foundation are not eligible for the scholarship
Individuals serving on UMSA committees may not apply
Immediate family members of the excluded individuals are also not eligible
For this scholarship, immediate family members include a spouse or child

Applicants should prepare a completed UMSA Foundation Scholarship application
Proof of residence in one of the eligible Midwestern states may be required
