Program Details and Eligible Subjects
The Chevening Scholarship supports postgraduate study specifically for one-year taught master’s degrees. At the University of Kent, students can apply for any eligible course across disciplines including arts and humanities, business and management, law and politics, social sciences, engineering and technology, natural sciences and mathematics, and computer science and data science. Applicants must choose three eligible UK courses when applying.
Scholarship Benefits
Chevening Scholars receive a comprehensive scholarship package covering full tuition fees, a monthly living stipend, travel costs to and from the UK, visa application costs, and a travel grant to attend official Chevening events in the UK. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be citizens of a Chevening-eligible country and commit to returning home for at least two years after the scholarship ends. They must hold an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK upper second-class (2:1) honours degree and have at least two years of work experience, which may include voluntary or part-time work. Applicants must apply to three eligible UK master’s programmes and secure an unconditional offer from at least one by 9 July 2026, and be willing to study full-time in the UK.
