The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program offers fully funded grants for senior researchers university lecturers and professionals holding a doctoral degree or equivalent experience Participants can conduct research attend classes and participate in professional development programs while building international networks and strengthening their home institutions
Program Details
Non-degree research program lasting three to nine months Open to a wide range of fields including economics and development education finance and banking public policy and administration international affairs law marketing library and information science technology policy and management Participants are encouraged to establish preliminary contacts with U.S host institutions and may submit a Letter of Invitation to enhance their application
Eligibility Criteria
Moldovan citizen permanently residing in Moldova including Transnistria Eligible for a J-1 visa and committed to returning to Moldova for at least two years after the program Hold a doctoral degree or equivalent professional experience Propose a feasible research project in one of the eligible fields Demonstrate proficiency in English sufficient for research and collaboration Obtain medical clearance prior to travel Candidates in medicine dentistry veterinary medicine nursing or related clinical fields are not eligible
