Eligible Nationalities

Applicants must be citizens of the United States or permanent residents of the United States

Students must also satisfy all academic, athletic, residency, and enrollment conditions established by the scholarship program

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be United States citizens or permanent residents

Applicants must be Black high school student-athletes

Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates preparing to enroll full-time at an accredited undergraduate institution

Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

Applicants must actively participate in athletics

Applicants must demonstrate strong personal character

Applicants must show meaningful involvement in volunteer service and community activities

Academic achievement, leadership, athletic participation, personal character, and community impact may be considered during the selection process

Eligible Counties

Applicants must reside in Sarpy County, Douglas County, Cass County, Lancaster County, or Pottawattamie County

Students living outside the eligible counties may not qualify for consideration

Selection of Recipients

The program will award one scholarship to an eligible Black male student-athlete

A second scholarship will be awarded to an eligible Black female student-athlete

Selection may be based on academic performance, athletic achievement, leadership ability, community service, strong character, and compliance with all scholarship requirements

Required Application Documents

Applicants should complete the official Chasers Charities Robinson Athletic Scholarship application

Academic transcripts or other evidence of the applicant’s cumulative grade point average may be required

Applicants may need to provide proof of United States citizenship or permanent residency

Proof of residence in an eligible county may be requested

Students may be asked to provide verification of their participation in high school athletics

Applicants should be prepared to describe their leadership experience, volunteer service, community involvement, and personal achievements

Verification of planned full-time enrollment at an accredited undergraduate institution may also be required

Additional supporting materials may be requested according to the official scholarship instructions
