Available Fields of Study
The scholarship supports academic fields that are strongly connected to diplomacy, international affairs, and public service. Priority areas include Political Science, International Relations, Law, Economics, Public Policy, and other related disciplines linked to foreign affairs and global governance.
These fields are selected to prepare students with the knowledge, analytical skills, and international perspective needed to represent the United Arab Emirates effectively in the future.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be UAE nationals between 17 and 22 years old. They must have parental approval and demonstrate strong academic achievement, usually with grades of 85 to 90 percent or above.
Candidates must hold a valid IELTS score of at least 6.5 and must have secured admission to a MoFA approved university abroad. Applicants are also required to provide proof of good conduct.
Male applicants must complete national service or provide an official exemption. Since the program is designed for Emirati citizens only, international applicants are not eligible to apply.
Scholarship Benefits
The UAE MoFA Scholarship Program offers full tuition fee coverage at approved international universities. Students also receive academic supervision and support through UAE cultural missions during their study abroad journey.
