Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a citizen of a developing country
- Bachelor’s degree obtained within the last 6 years (as of October 2025)
- Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience after the bachelor’s degree (internships or volunteer work do not count)
- Academic excellence: Top third of the graduating class
- Resided in Germany no longer than 15 months prior to application
- English language proficiency: TOEFL iBT 95, IELTS 7.0, Cambridge C1, or PTE 76 (applicants with a previous degree from an English-speaking institution may be exempt)

- Completed and signed DAAD application form
- Motivation letter (up to 2 pages)
- CV (Europass format, no gaps)
- Bachelor’s degree certificates and transcripts (translated if necessary)
- Proof of at least 2 years of professional work experience (with official dates, signature, and stamp)
- Recommendation letter from current employer
- Recommendation letter from a university professor or academic supervisor
- Proof of English proficiency
- DAAD checklist signed
- APS certificate (for applicants from China, India, and Vietnam)
