Berlin Mathematical School Scholarships 2026 Germany Fully Funded

The scholarships are offered by Berlin Mathematical School in collaboration with Freie Universität Berlin Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Technische Universität Berlin

The program provides tuition-free education and financial support for both master’s phase I preparatory studies and direct entry into PhD research

Phase I is for students completing a bachelor’s degree and aims to prepare them for doctoral studies starting in October of the following year

Phase II is for students who already hold a master’s degree and wish to engage directly in PhD research with funding guaranteed for at least three years

Eligibility

Applicants must demonstrate excellent academic performance in mathematics or related disciplines

Phase I candidates should be completing their bachelor’s degree and Phase II candidates must hold a master’s degree

Selection is based on academic excellence, research potential, and alignment with the school’s mathematical programs

Candidates from all nationalities are welcome
