Empower Women in Tech: Generation Google Scholarship 2025–26 (APAC)

Scholarship Details

The Generation Google Scholarship 2025–26 awards USD 2,500 to selected female undergraduate students for the upcoming academic year. Administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE) in collaboration with Google, the program seeks candidates who combine strong leadership potential, high academic achievement, and financial need, and who intend to continue full-time study in a technical field at an accredited APAC university in the 2025–26 academic year 

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be women currently enrolled full-time in their second or third year of a Bachelor’s programme in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field during the 2024–25 academic year and plan to continue in 2025–26 at an accredited institution in the Asia‑Pacific region  Candidates must demonstrate academic excellence, leadership qualities, and financial need. Children of Google employees are not eligible 

Scholarship Benefits

The award provides USD 2,500 to support your education for the full academic year 2025–26. This funding can help with tuition, books, or related academic fees. Recipients also join a global network of Generation Google Scholars, gaining visibility, mentorship opportunities, and connection to peers and professionals in technology

How to Apply

Begin by preparing your documents in PDF format: a current resume or CV, academic transcripts (unofficial copies are acceptable), two letters of recommendation, and thoughtful responses to essay prompts about leadership and inclusion. Visit the official IIE/Google application portal for Asia‑Pacific and create an account to enter your academic and personal information. Upload your materials and submit before the deadline on August 14, 2025, or until the application cap of roughly 1,250 eligible submissions is reached—so apply early
