Advance Your Research Journey with the SNU Global EDGE Fellowship Fall 2025

The SNU Global EDGE Fellowship is part of the Brain Korea 21 Four BK21 FOUR Project and supports new doctoral students as well as integrated master’s-PhD students entering the doctoral stage in the 1st or 2nd semester of 2025 This program provides full tuition coverage and a generous monthly stipend to ensure scholars can dedicate themselves fully to research and academic growth Participation in BK21 Four Project activities is mandatory.

Program Details

PhD-level scholarship open to all disciplines Departments and research projects must be supported under the BK21 Four Project Scholarship duration up to 4 semesters equivalent to 2 academic years Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.3 and actively participate in BK21 Four Project research

Eligibility Criteria

New doctoral students admitted in the 1st or 2nd semester of 2025 or integrated master’s & doctoral students advancing to the doctoral stage in the same period Major in a department supported by the BK21 Four Project Actively engaged in BK21 Four Project research Must not receive other tuition waiver scholarships from a BK21 Four Research Project Open to applicants of all nationalities

Application Procedure

Prepare and submit completed application form academic transcripts and graduation certificates Recommendation letter from an SNU professor in the applicant’s department BK21 Four Project Participation Confirmation documents Submit applications to the college administration office which forwards them to the Office of International Affairs OIA Deadline for submission to OIA: October 14, 2025 Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed and final results announced in October 2025
