Scholarship Details

The J.C. Cote Scholarship is a merit-based award for students pursuing a career in human resources. One scholarship of $1,000 is awarded annually to recognize outstanding academic achievement and professional commitment.

Eligible candidates include undergraduate juniors and graduate students currently enrolled in HR-related programs. The scholarship is awarded by the Arkansas SHRM State Council, and the application deadline is September 15, 2026.

Benefits

Recipients of the J.C. Cote Scholarship receive a $1,000 award to support their educational expenses. Beyond financial assistance, this scholarship provides recognition within the HR community and enhances the professional profile of emerging HR leaders.

Eligibility

Undergraduate applicants must be juniors at the start of the fall semester, have declared a major in Human Resource Management or a related field, and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0. Graduate applicants must be enrolled in an HR-related program and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5.
