  • International applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency with an IELTS score of at least 6.5 (no component below 6.0).
  • Applicants should have a clear research proposal aligned with UWL’s strategic research priorities.

 Financial Support

The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support to ensure that recipients can focus entirely on their research:

Full-time Study:
  • Annual stipend of £22,000 (tax-free).
  • Full coverage of tuition fees.
  • Program duration: 3 years.
  • Commitment to teaching or research duties for up to 6 hours per week.
