Advance Your Research with the DLR-DAAD Research Fellowship Programme

Details

The programme is implemented by the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in cooperation with DAAD
DLR is Germany’s national research center for aeronautics, space, energy, transport, digitalisation, and security, operating across 55 institutes at 30 locations
Fellowships are individually tailored and current offers specify specific qualifications and terms of visit
Applicants may only apply for research at a DLR institute, not for universities or other institutions

Funding Duration and Value

Type A – Graduate Students: 9 months with monthly instalment of 992 euros plus travel allowance, rent subsidy, health insurance, and family allowances
Type B – Doctoral Students: up to 36 months with monthly instalment of 1,760 euros plus travel allowance, health insurance, and family allowances
Type C – Postdoctoral Students: 6 to 24 months with monthly instalment of 2,400 euros
Type D – Senior Scientists: 1 to 3 months with monthly instalment of 2,760 euros
