Lead the Future of Peacebuilding with the Yale Peace Fellowship 2026
Programme Overview
Sixteen emerging leaders will be selected to join the 2026 cohort of the Yale Peace Fellowship. The programme blends virtual learning with two in-person seminars. From January to May 2026 participants will engage in bi-weekly virtual workshops led by top scholars and practitioners in peacebuilding and global affairs. In February fellows will travel to the UAE to attend the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity where they will meet with international leaders working in interfaith dialogue and reconciliation. Finally in April the programme culminates with an immersive leadership seminar at Yale University in New Haven USA where fellows connect deepen learning and build long-term partnerships for peace

Eligibility Criteria
The fellowship is open to individuals of all nationalities professions and ages. Applicants should demonstrate a strong track record in peacebuilding conflict resolution or reconciliation with proven leadership experience and a desire to scale their impact. Full proficiency in English is essential as well as full availability for all virtual and in-person components. Candidates must have a sincere commitment to fostering peaceful inclusive and resilient societies
Fellowship Benefits
The fellowship is fully funded covering all expenses including international travel accommodation meals visas and programme materials. There are no application or participation fees. How to Apply
Applications must be submitted through the Yale Peace Fellowship official platform before 2 September 2025 at 14:00 local time. Required documents include a CV or résumé of no more than three pages a personal statement of up to 600 words a short video introduction and one letter of recommendation. Selection is based on leadership potential clarity of purpose peacebuilding achievements and readiness to contribute to an international community of changemakers
