Fellowship Overview
The KAUST Global Fellowship supports research aligned with the university’s core divisions: Biological and Environmental Science and Engineering, Computer, Electrical, and Mathematical Science and Engineering, and Physical Science and Engineering. Research should also address key global themes including health and wellness, sustainable environment and essential needs, energy and industrial leadership, and economies of the future.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants of all nationalities are welcome. Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. within the last four years on or after January 2022 and completed it before the fellowship begins. Applicants should be prepared to relocate to Saudi Arabia for the full three-year duration and must identify a KAUST faculty host willing to support their research proposal.

Applicants must submit a detailed CV or resume, two published research papers, a three-year research proposal, a letter of support from a KAUST faculty host, and two recommendation letters from academic or professional referees.
