Established in 2004 the Schlumberger Foundation is an independent non-profit organization committed to advancing gender equality in STEM Through Faculty for the Future the foundation funds outstanding women from low- and middle-income countries enabling them to conduct advanced research abroad and build a global network of women researchers mentors and educators transforming science and education worldwide
Available Fields of Study
The fellowship focuses on Physical Sciences Engineering Computer Science and Mathematics but women in other STEM-related disciplines are also encouraged to apply

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be women from low- or middle-income countries pursuing a PhD or postdoctoral research in STEM Enrolled admitted or applied to a university or research institute abroad Must have excellent academic records and high research potential Demonstrate commitment to returning home to contribute to socio-economic development Show leadership qualities community engagement and a track record of promoting women and girls in STEM

Submit an online application via the official Schlumberger Foundation portal Application opens 1 September 2025 and closes 7 November 2025 Prepare required documents including academic transcripts and certificates proof of admission or application to a foreign university research proposal summary CV/resume statement of purpose and two or more recommendation letters Submit all documents before the deadline
