Scholarship Benefits

The Beit Trust Scholarship is fully funded covering full tuition and academic fees paid directly to the university living allowance UK visa health surcharge TB test and biometric costs arrival laptop and departure allowances Economy-class return airfare to and from the study destination Please note that dependents or spouses are not covered

Eligible Nationalities

Applicants must be nationals and permanent residents of Zambia Zimbabwe or Malawi Currently residing in one of these countries and committed to returning home after completing their studies

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold an Honours degree First or Upper Second Class or equivalent Have not yet begun a postgraduate course Preferably possess at least three years of professional experience Demonstrate leadership potential and commitment to community or national development Intend to return home after graduation Apply to one or more Beit Partner Universities Medical and Veterinary applicants must have completed 18 months of internship and at least one year of in-country posting preferably with rural experience

Application Procedure

Apply to Beit Partner Universities in the UK by securing an offer before applying to Beit Trust In South Africa applicants may apply without a confirmed offer but must provide a list of intended courses and universities Prepare required documents including degree certificates and transcripts CV personal statement valid passport copy recent photograph and three references Academic Character and Employer if applicable Submit your application online via the official Beit Trust portal Applications close on 13 February 2026 at 17:00 CAT Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in Lusaka Harare and Blantyre during April 2026
