The Discover Canada – Alberta Cultural Exchange Program 2026 offers a transformative opportunity for young individuals to immerse themselves in Canada's rich cultural heritage, stunning natural landscapes, and vibrant multicultural society. Organized by Candiscover, this program aims to foster global citizenship, intercultural dialogue, and youth empowerment. Participants will engage in a series of activities designed to promote peacebuilding, leadership, and cultural storytelling through hands-on experiences.

  • Location: Calgary, Banff, and Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada
  • Duration: 4 days
  • Total Participants: 30 (10 fully funded, 20 partially funded)

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should:

  • Be between 16 and 35 years old
  • Have a strong interest in cultural exchange and global issues
  • Possess basic English communication skills (no IELTS/TOEFL required)
  • Be active on social media platforms (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Demonstrate a commitment to community engagement and intercultural understanding
