Scholarship Tracks for 2026–2027
The Government Scholarship Plan includes three major programs, each tailored to meet the diverse academic and professional goals of Qatari students.
The Amiri Scholarship Programme
This elite scholarship targets top-performing high school graduates with outstanding GPAs and leadership potential. Awardees are given the opportunity to study at the world’s top 24 universities or five leading local institutions in Qatar.
The program prioritizes disciplines of national importance such as medicine, engineering, science, and innovation — empowering students to become pioneers in Qatar’s strategic sectors.
Scholarship Benefits and Allowances
General Abroad Scholarships
- Basic allowance: QAR 8,000/month
- Travel allowance: QAR 6,000/month
- Pre-travel grant: QAR 25,000 (one-time)

Local Scholarships
- List 1 (QAR 10,000/month): Medicine, Education, and Emergency Response
- List 2 (QAR 8,000/month): Engineering, Computer Science, and Health Sciences
