Excel Globally with the University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship

Details

This merit-based award offers up to NZD 10,000 applied directly to compulsory tuition and Student Services fees, available to new international students enrolled full‑time in a Bachelor’s degree, postgraduate diploma, or taught Master’s programme of at least 120 points. The scholarship is limited to one year (first academic semester) and up to 50 recipients are selected bi‑annually during the year. Applications open on 30 January 2025 for Semester 2 (2025) intake with a closing date of 1 April 2025, and again on 11 September 2025 for Semester 1 (2026) intake, closing on 23 October 2025 

Eligibility

Open to new full-fee paying international students (excluding citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand or Australia) who hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) from the University of Auckland or via the English Language Academy Applicants must enroll full-time on-campus in an eligible undergraduate, postgraduate diploma or taught Master’s programme (minimum 120 points) A strong academic record is essential and applicants must meet the university’s English language requirements Distance learning or continuing students are not eligible
