Scholarship Details

UEF provides a range of scholarships for international students, including a full tuition fee waiver (100%) and partial tuition waivers (up to 50%). Additional support may be offered to students demonstrating Finnish language proficiency during their studies. Scholarships cover up to three years for bachelor’s programs and up to two years for master’s programs, with the possibility of special grants in the second year based on first-year academic performance. No separate application is required — scholarships are assessed automatically during the admission process.

Who Should Apply

The scholarships are open to highly motivated international students from outside the EU/EEA or Switzerland who are applying for full-time English-taught bachelor’s or master’s programs at UEF. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong academic performance and a commitment to excellence in their studies.

Eligibility Criteria

Application Deadline

Submit your application for admission through the national Studyinfo.fi portal between 7 and 21 January 2026 for studies starting in autumn 2026. Scholarship decisions are announced along with admission results.
