Programme level is Master’s degree through SEARCA partner universities
Fields of study include Environmental Science at UPLB Sustainable Land Use and Natural Resource Management at KU Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences at IPB Environmental Biotechnology Environmental Engineering and Environmental System and Modeling at UPM and Planning and Management of Coastal Area and Watershed or Geography at UGM
Eligible applicants include graduates from Cambodia Indonesia Laos Myanmar Malaysia Philippines East Timor Thailand and Vietnam who hold a first academic degree

Eligibility

Applicants must be citizens of one of the eligible Southeast Asian countries
A first academic degree relevant to the chosen field of study is required
Candidates must show dedication to careers in teaching research or development work in the region
Female applicants and those from less privileged backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply

Benefits

Coverage of full tuition fees for up to twenty four months
Monthly living allowance for Master’s study support

Application Process

Applicants must follow a two step process
Step one is to submit a complete scholarship application through the DAAD Portal
Step two is to apply directly for admission at one of the SEARCA partner institutions UPLB KU IPB UPM or UGM following their deadlines and requirements
Timely preparation and submission to both DAAD and the host institution is required for consideration
