About the Program
The MADM is an 18-month full-time Master’s program taught entirely in English. It combines rigorous academic study with practical applications, focusing on development management, economics, public policy, social sciences, and empirical research methods. As part of DAAD’s Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS), the program offers both full and partial funding opportunities to outstanding candidates
Who Can Apply
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Economics, Geography, Law, Social Sciences, or other fields related to development program planning and evaluation. DAAD-EPOS applicants are required to have at least two years of professional experience in development-related work and provide proof of English proficiency through TOEFL or IELTS
Benefits
Full or partial tuition coverage ensures financial support while you focus on your studies. Recipients also receive a monthly stipend, health insurance, international travel allowance, a mandatory German language preparatory course for DAAD-EPOS recipients, internship placements, field research opportunities, and additional funding for field research through the PROMOS program

DAAD-EPOS Scholarship Applicants must submit applications by 30 September 2025. Self-funded or other scholarship applicants have until 31 December 2025
