The AMS scholarship covers full tuition fees for one selected master’s programme within the UvA Faculty of Economics and Business and includes an additional €5,000 allowance for the academic year. Awardees will receive their grant in monthly instalments while continuing to pay tuition in full (with instalment options available). Complete your application for a master’s degree within Faculty of Economics and Business before the relevant deadline—such as 15 January 2026 for the September intake or 1 November 2025 for February enrolment tracks—and follow your faculty’s guidelines for submitting the scholarship application along with required documents.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a valid passport from a non‑EU/EEA country and not qualify for Dutch study grants or reduced tuition rates. You must be applying to a UvA Master’s programme for the first time and have completed your previous degree within the past three years. Scholarship candidates should demonstrate outstanding academic performance—typically among the top percentile of their class—and not hold any other full-coverage scholarship during the same study period. Eligibility also requires full-time enrolment at UvA and compliance with Dutch visa regulations
