Scholarship Overview

Pembroke University offers scholarships for Year 7 entry, Years 10–12, and the IB Diploma Programme. Senior students can select either the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) or the IB Diploma with subjects across six IB groups.

The scholarships are open to domestic and international students. Applicants studying on an Australian student visa (Subclass 500) are eligible for many scholarships under the international fee structure. Pembroke welcomes students from diverse backgrounds, including rural communities, international families, and those demonstrating exceptional academic or artistic talent.

Benefits of the Scholarships

Academic Scholarships for Year 7 provide partial to significant tuition remission based on exam results and interviews. Music Scholarships offer up to 100% tuition remission for students demonstrating excellence or promise. Boarding Scholarships typically provide 50% tuition remission, while Isolated Students’ Scholarships and Bursaries range from 25%–50% depending on circumstances. The Scholarship for the Love of Learning in the IB can cover up to 100% of tuition and IB Diploma fees. Margaret Sellars’ Scholarship supports boarding for rural students entering Years 10–12. Recipients also gain access to Pembroke’s academic resources, co-curricular activities, pastoral care, and global pathways through the IB.
