Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be citizens of eligible Belt and Road countries such as Pakistan, Indonesia, Vietnam, and other selected countries. Candidates must meet the academic and age requirements for their chosen degree level.

Bachelor’s applicants must be high school graduates and under 25 years old. Master’s applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old. PhD applicants must hold a master’s degree and be under 40 years old.

Applicants must meet the Chinese language requirements, usually HSK Level III to V depending on the selected program. They must also demonstrate strong academic performance, provide recommendation letters, and submit a clear study or research plan.

Because the number of available seats is limited, the scholarship is highly competitive and is best suited for top performing candidates with strong academic motivation and clear future goals.
