Fellowship Details
The Visegrad Fellowship Program is funded by the International Visegrad Fund to promote academic mobility and regional collaboration
This short term research fellowship allows scholars to conduct research deliver lectures or collaborate with institutions across Central Europe
Program duration ranges from two weeks up to ten weeks
Funding support can reach up to five thousand euros
The program takes place across key Central European countries including Czechia Hungary Poland and Slovakia
Applicants from Ukraine are also eligible to apply
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be citizens and residents of eligible countries within the Visegrad region or Ukraine
Candidates must be enrolled as doctoral students or hold a postdoctoral research position
The fellowship is open to all academic disciplines without thematic restrictions
Applicants should demonstrate a clear research plan or academic collaboration objective
Benefits
Weekly financial support of five hundred euros
Total funding up to five thousand euros depending on the duration
Eighty percent of the funding is provided at the beginning of the program
Remaining twenty percent is granted after successful completion
Funding can be used flexibly to cover travel accommodation and daily living expenses
Opportunity to build international academic networks and collaborate with leading institutions in Central Europe
