Areas of Focus
The fellowship supports organizations working in non communicable diseases, rare diseases, climate and health, health system strengthening, and youth health and wellbeing.
Applicants whose organizations are creating sustainable solutions in underserved communities are especially encouraged to apply.
Who Can Apply
The fellowship is open to applicants from all nationalities around the world.
It is ideal for founders of small and medium sized non profit organizations, public health leaders, community development activists, and changemakers working to improve access to healthcare and wellbeing.
Applicants must be able to travel to South Africa to participate in the One Young World Summit 2026.
Financial Benefits
Selected fellows will receive a grant of ten thousand dollars for their non profit organizations.
One outstanding participant will also be selected as the Lead2030 winner and will receive an additional grant of fifty thousand dollars under Sustainable Development Goal 3 for Good Health and Wellbeing.
Fully Funded Summit Experience
The fellowship includes full participation in the One Young World Summit 2026.
Travel expenses, accommodation, and meals will be fully covered for selected participants.
Additional Advantages
Fellows will gain access to the One Young World Ambassador Network and the One Young World Academy, a special mini MBA style learning experience.
Participants will also receive mentorship from AstraZeneca professionals and have the chance to connect with global leaders, experts, and fellow changemakers from around the world.
