Pursue a Global Career in Environmental Sustainability with the Erasmus Mundus MESPOM Scholarship 2026
Established in 2005, the MESPOM program combines rigorous academic training with applied approaches, preparing students for careers in government, business, non-profits, and academia. Students gain exposure to diverse geographic perspectives across Scandinavia, the Mediterranean, and the UK, while integrating professional competencies in policy, management, and science. The program also collaborates with 11 academic and professional partners across 9 countries on 4 continents, fostering a truly international learning experience.
Program Structure
The Erasmus Mundus MESPOM Master’s program is a 2-year (24 months) course totaling 120 ECTS credits.
First Year
Fall & Winter terms at Central European University (Vienna, Austria) cover introductory and advanced sustainability challenges.
Spring term at the University of the Aegean (Lesvos, Greece) focuses on land, water, ecosystem management, and sustainable tourism.
Summer term includes a faculty-supervised internship.
Funding and Benefits
The Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, funded by the European Commission, provides full financial support for tuition, travel costs, visas, accommodation, and living expenses throughout the program.
